Ramadan Attacks?

There was a recent article on Debka which revealed that President Ahmadinejad of Iran was planning to visit Beirut in late July or early August. To protect him, and Hizballah leader Hassan Nazrallah, from assassination attempts he would be travelling with Syrian President Bashar Assad and Shiekh Hamad Bin Khalif Thani, the ruler of Qatar when the met Lebanese President Michel Suleiman. Subsequently there was an assassination attempt against Ahmadinejad which has been widely reported, and widely denied by Iran.  This will, coupled to the growing effectiveness of the petroleum embargo against Iran, will only add to his paranoia. Israel has made it clear that an attack on Iran’s nuclear capability is inevitable if sanctions are ineffective. Iran continues to promote conflict against Israel by its puppet armies in Lebanon and Syria in an attempt to distract international attention away from its nuclear weapons production. Ramadan starts at the sighting of the new crescent moon, which this year will happen on 11 Aug. Ramadan lasts for one lunar month and anyone martyred in jihad during Ramadan (especially the latter part) is supposed to receive double honour in paradise.  Interestingly, Ramadan will end on the Biblical Holy Day of the Feast of Trumpets (Thur 9 Sep).  The Feast of Trumpets is a time when we are reminded of the call to war and announcing the arrival of the King. Will Iran unleash a proxy war against Israel on the Biblical Holy day of the Feast of Trumpets (as happened during the Yom Kippur war) which will start the Middle East war which will result in the Third World War, predicted...

The Time of Small Things

This message discusses the frustration many of us feel when we can see the Day of the Lord approaching, but still we do not see the great wonders and miracles prophesied for that time occurring. I especially questioned whether I was doing enough of a work as I have recently finished my book on Bible prophecy “Armageddon 2015” which you can out more of at www.Armageddon2015.com and updated the ministry website to make it much more accessible. But still I question why all teh effort put in by many Biblically honest groups are not having the effects we all hope and pray for. This messages investigates this issue through comparison with the work of Zerubabbel. Please listen to it here. Brother...

The Drums of War

This weeks message was inspired by an article I read on the Middle East Quarterly which stated that Russia, China and Iran are forming a de facto alliance which will rival US hegemony. This brought to mind the first two horsemen of the Book of Revelation. The White Horse representing the false Messiah of radical Islam, which is corner stone of the religious zeal of the President of Iran. The Red Horse represents the destruction wreaked by the communist nations of the earth which will result in the destruction of America and Britain. I also consider the statements made by Brigadier General Ephraim Sneh, the former Minister of Defence for Israel, who stated that Israel must attack Iran by Novemer 2010 at the latest to neutralise the Iranian nuclear threat. The MEQ article can be found here. The article by BGen Sneh is here. And more information this topic and the Islamic Mahdi can be found at...

Why there is no rapture?

I’ve just been involved in a short discussion on Facebook about the Rapture, he’re is the summary: “I’ve had a look at that site – thank you for the link. http://www.learnbibleprophecy.com/An_Overview_of_End_Times_Events_Early_Rapture.html Again similar to my comments to John, the author states that it is his theory and that he will change his position if he sees the abomination of desolation. So this hardly inspires confidence that this is a sound Biblically proven position to adopt. The author correctly points out that, using your term, the Rapture “Will happen in an instant (in “the twinkling of an eye”). 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 but he then goes on to dismiss the rest of the scripture which gives the exact timing of the “rapture”. 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” So we are all changed at the time of the resurrection of the dead, which occurs at the “last trumpet”. And according to Thes 4:1517 –  For this we say to you...

Why does man need religion?

This message is in response to a question from a person about the word “religion” given that its Latin root  means “re” = regain, “ligare” = to join. – What does religion mean? – What is man trying to rejoin? – What was separated that needs to be rejoined? – What has man been trying to rejoin since time immemorial? – Why hasn’t man been able to rejoin it after thousands of years of religion? This messages addresses all of these questions and gives the answer revealed in the Bible as to why man needs...
