STRM Newsletter 22 August 2015 – A House Divided

I recently read an article that stated that race relations in America are worse now under the Obama administration than they have been for over 50 years.

The media always makes big news of the cases where a black person is killed or injured by a white or Hispanic individual. But there is just as much black against white violence and even more black against black which is barely reported. This unwillingness to face the truth because of the politically correct agenda adopted by our institutions means we will never resolve this problem. Racial tension and the resulting violence is an insoluble problem which will cause increasing division in our communities.

Y’HoWShUA tells us in Matthew 12:25,

“And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:”

Every house divided against itself shall not stand!

Just as we see growing racial division we also see increasing divisiveness in our political system. Currently it is within the Republican party as they seek a presidential candidate. As Trump gains more popular support the RINO establishment will amplify their attacks on him in an attempt to protect their internal power structure. When the Presidential elections come in 2016 the rhetoric and vitriol will be at a level of bitterness we have not experienced before.

We have division in our families. YHWH intended children to be raised in a natural balanced family with a father and mother figure present to provide a balance of authority / discipline from the father and nurture and affection from the mother. In many families today the father figure is missing, and the children grow without any experience of rightful authority which inhibits them from developing the self-discipline they need to succeed.

We also see splits and division in our churches. Whether it is a major political issue such as gay marriage or the ordination of women priests or doctrinal minutiae such as the correct pronunciation of a name of the start date of a calendar, these are all reasons we have been divided. YHWH expects the Bride to make herself ready. The Body of Messiah must come together in the unity of the faith before the end can come.

So brethren, we have an obligation to focus on the weightier matters of the law, to seek unity in the Set Apart Spirit and to prepare ourselves for the soon coming end time ministry we are called to fulfil. Please listen to this week’s message “A House Divided” because this will give you more guidance on how we are to make ourselves ready in unity.
